Mission Statement:

BUILDING BRIDGES OF FRIENDSHIP by promoting international understanding and by encouraging learning, camaraderie, and mutual respect among men of experience, honor, and integrity with strong international backgrounds or interests, through a series of friendly and participative educational, cultural, and social events.

Vision Statement: 

     Over the next 3-5 years, build on IMCA success to make the Club bigger and even better.  Expand membership to approximately 200 members through referrals of high quality candidates.

     Increase international focus by emphasizing diversity of membership, with representation from a broader range of cultures and backgrounds. Offer a range of consistently high quality programs: Luncheon program speakers. Dine Outs and Cocktails & Conversation and Special Cultural, Social, and Educational Events. 

     As the club grows, maintain intimacy friendliness, and connectedness through actions such as introducing new members at monthly luncheons. annual new members reception and seeking members’ input and feedback.

Henry Pfendt

Retired Business and Information Management Executive.  32 years with Kodak holding various executive positions both in US and International. Native of Germany, BS University of Rochester and graduate of UofM Business School Executive Development Program. US Air Force Veteran. 

 

Secretary
Fred Tuttle, Jr

Retired Educator (Asst. Superintendent for Collier County and Needham. MA) and former Professor at the State University of New York. While at SUNY, he worked in Rio de Janeiro establishing a teaching center and training teachers at Escola Americana. He has published several books and articles on gifted education and teaching written composition. He has a BA degree from Williams College and a PhD from Syracuse University.

 

Treasurer
Frank Murphy

Retired Manufacturing and Financial Executive.  Frank worked in manufacturing at Boeing, Gillette and Costar Corp., in finance at Costar and Biopure Corp. and in marketing at Corning. At Costar he built a factory in Ireland and oversaw operations in the UK, Holland, Germany, France and Italy. At Corning Science Products he had marketing responsibility for Japan and Asia/Pacific. He has a BSIE and a BA from Rutgers, and an MBA from B.U.

Bradley D. Towle 

Brad was born in Stratford, Ontario, Canada and completed his undergraduate degree in Business and Economics at Wilfred Laurier University . Moved  to the US in 1981. Earned his Graduate School of Banking at the University of Madison, Wisconsin and his Graduate Trust School degree from the American Bankers Association at Northwestern University. Brad has been involved in the Financial Services Profession since 1978.

Larry McDonald

Retired Human Resource Executive with 32 years at Ford Motor Co., including 13 years in International Operations. Graduate of Michigan State University with BS Degree in Economics. Veteran of the Korean War. Served on several Board of Directors for Non-Profit Organizations and Professional Human Resource Organizations in Michigan and Florida.

 

Social Director
Robert Von Wojcik

Robert was born and grew up in the Chicago Illinois area. BFA from University of Illinois, Master from Northern Illinois, Master from the University of the Americas, Mexico, graduate work University of Salzburg, Austria and Christ College Oxford, England. Taught Architectural Design for 30 years in Illinois. Divides his time between Naples and a lake home in Iron River,MI.

James McDonald

Jim started his career as a teacher, counselor, and college administrator. He later joined the Department of the Army as a civilian employee spending 16 of his 23 years at various military installations in Germany and the Netherlands. His last position was Chief of the Education Division at Fort Drum, NY.

 

Dining Out Director
Ron R. Schneider

Ron graduated from Indiana University and then served as an Officer in the U.S. Army Infantry. During his career he headed various businesses in the areas of banking, retailing and agriculture. Interest in the community has been ongoing. Community involvement included serving on the Indiana State Board of Health Planning, Indiana University Foundation and Mayo Clinic Development. Schneider remains active through the Schneider Family Foundation Inc.

 

Communications  Director
Lyle Bultman

Retired Executive, after 36 years with ArvinMeritor, Inc. Formerly GM of China Operations, Manager of the Shanghai Regional Office, and former Dir. of Quality and Training Asia Pacific, stationed in Bangkok, Thailand. Extensive Asian experience. Veteran of the U.S. Navy serving three years in Vietnam. Currently lecturing with FGCU-Renaissance Academy, and for private groups on Asian Subjects.
